Self-adhesive labels, also known as self-adhesive labels, instant stickers, instant stickers, pressure-sensitive paper, etc., are made of printing paper, plastic film or special materials as the fabric, the back is coated with adhesive, and the silicon-coated backing paper is used as a maintenance paper. It is a kind of composite material, and after printing, film cutting and other production and processing, it becomes a finished product label. When in use, it only needs to be detached from the backing paper, and it can be attached to the surface of various materials with a single press. It can also be applied to the labeling machine for automatic labeling in the production process.
The main uses of self-adhesive labels are very common:
Barcode labels commonly include drug labels, food labels, wine labels, rechargeable battery labels, outer packaging labels, shampoo labels, bar code labels, and temporary labels for semi-finished products processing. Film-dominated, the key is suitable for decorative design decals on vehicles and motorcycles, logo text on trademark logo window displays, reflective stickers on highways, logos on shipping containers, etc. It is dominated by printing paper and film, and is divided into basic labels and variable information content labels according to usage standards.

The distinction of thermal paper
1. Thermal labels. Thermal labels are coated with a colorless thermal coating on the surface of ordinary offset labels. When printing, under the action of the heat of the print head, the heat-sensitive parts of the thermal label turn black. The parts that are not sensitive to heat do not change color, thus forming text or barcodes to achieve the purpose of printing. Thermal labels are divided into two types: with a protective layer and without a protective layer. The protective layer is above the thermal layer to protect the thermal layer, resist chemical corrosion, and prevent label contamination (such as sweat on hands, labels for blood banks) blood, etc.) and to protect the print head. The thermal coating can be designed with different activation temperatures as required to meet the needs of printers with different performances.
2. Thermal transfer labels. The thermal transfer label is a special label specially manufactured for ribbon printing. The ink on the ribbon is transferred to the label sheet under the action of the heat and pressure of the print head of the barcode printer. Therefore, the surface of the thermal transfer label is required to be smooth, non-reflective, and has good ink absorption. Generally, thermal transfer labels have a matte coating, and after reaching the print head, a qualified label is printed under low heat and low pressure. Other types of copperplate labels and matt labels can also be used as thermal transfer labels, but the effect is not good, affecting the life of the print head and the quality of the label.
